Corona of niet, een echt rustige ruimtevaartzomer is het niet geworden. Met de geslaagde lancering van Perseverance is een derde sonde nu vertrokken naar de Rode Planeet. Afspraak bij Mars in februari 2020. En het stof was nog maar pas gaan liggen of het wordt aftellen naar de terugkeer van de eerste bemande Crew Dragon. Met Bob en Doug die op deze dag (2 augustus) in de Golf Van Mexico moeten neerplenzen. Verder stelde Virgin Galactic de passagierscabine voor van SpaceShipTwo. En kreeg project Kuiper van Amazon het licht op groen van het FCC. Al zullen velen dat niet meteen als een hoogtepunt beschouwen.
