Nieuws Uit De Ruimtevaart – Week 2020/39–512

Geen uitschieters deze week tenzij misschien dat NASA meer detail vrij gaf over Artemis, het plan om tegen 2024 “the next man and the first woman” op de Maan te zetten. Veel nieuwe dingen stonden er niet in. Er stond een tabel in over de kostprijs verdeeld over de volgende jaren. En plannen van een Maanbasis. Of het allemaal doorgaat (zij het in 2024 zij het tegen 2028) hangt uiteindelijk allemaal af van wat er de volgende maanden in de Verenigde Staten van Amerika gaat gebeuren. Met de presidentsverkiezingen. Met de begroting. Dat en nog veel meer in het Nieuws Uit De Ruimtevaart van deze week.

Bij de foto: De Gateway was lange tijd de noodzakelijke stap om op de Maan te landen. Al is het niet duidelijk of dit mini-ruimtestation al bij de eerste Artemis-maanlanding kan/mag/zal gebruikt worden.
