Nieuws Uit De Ruimtevaart – Week 2020/43–516

Bingo!. Toch wat OSIRIS-REx bij Bennu betreft. Zelfs zoveel materiaal verzameld dat het potje overloopt. Bij Venus lijken de kansen op leven weer wat gezakt. En SpaceX voerde deze week liefst twee Starlink-lanceringen uit. Wat – voor zover ik me herinner – ook voor het Nieuws Uit De Ruimtevaart een primeur is. Dat en nog veel meer in de aflevering van deze week.

Bij de foto: Men hoopte voldoende materiaal verzameld te hebben zodat men geen tweede keer naar het oppervlak moest afdalen. Bij het fotograferen van het resultaat bleek dat het verzamelde materiaal niet voldoende afgesloten was. Wellicht door te grote stukken. Wat er meteen voor zorgde dat kleiner materiaal kon ontsnappen. Men gaat nu het materiaal zo snel als mogelijk opbergen in de Sample Return Container.. Foto NASA.
