Eerst en vooral, allemaal een fijn 2024 toegewenst. Dat het een interessant ruimtevaartjaar moge worden.

SpaceX haalt zijn 100 Falcon 9 lanceringen net niet. Maar met een totaal van 212 lanceringen in 2023 (de mislukte niet inbegrepen) werden er nooit eerder zoveel lanceringen verricht. En de verwachtingen zijn dat in 2024 dit opnieuw verpulverd gaat worden. De laatste week van dit jaar telde nog 9 lanceringen waarvan 5 vanuit China. En het lijkt misschien verrassend maar ook daar nemen commerciële raketten een steeds groter aandeel in de lanceringen voor zich. Dat en nog veel meer in het Nieuws Uit De Ruimtevaart van deze week.
