Nieuws Uit De Ruimtevaart – Week 2025/05–737

De nieuwe president van de Verenigde Staten van Amerika heeft gevraagd aan Musk om twee door de vorige president vergeten en verwaarloosde astronauten terug naar de Aarde te brengen. Zucht. Het gaat uiteraard om de twee Starliner-astronauten. Uiteraard een heel verhaal en neen, Starliner is nog altijd niet klaar bevonden om terug te vliegen. Maar Suni Williams is ondertussen al een tijdje commandant van het ISS en samen met Butch Williams deed ze afgelopen week een ruimtewandeling waardoor ze in Amerika recordhoudster wordt qua aantal uren ruimtewandelen. En trouwens, is het niet omdat SpaceX vertraging heeft opgelopen met de afwerking van een nieuwe capsule dat de twee nog een maand extra in de ruimte “moeten” blijven? Dat en gelukkig nog veel meer in het Nieuws Uit De Ruimtevaart van deze week.
