Deze week stonden ruimtestations in de belangstelling. Er was dan toch wat aandacht voor het feit dat er 25 jaar lang continu mensen in de ruimte zijn. Er is VAST dat een demo-satelliet lanceerde als voorbereiding op hun eerste ruimtestation HAVEN 1. Maar er is natuurlijk ook de bemanning van Shenzhou 20 die wat langer in het Chinese ruimtestation mogen blijven omwille van een mogelijke inslag op hun terugkeercapsule. En in de VS is er nog steeds de shutdown, en dat heeft blijkbaar gevolgen voor het aantal lanceringen (vanaf volgende week). Dat en nog veel meer in het Nieuws Uit De Ruimtevaart.

Bij de foto: Toen de bemanning van Shenzhou 20 de “sleutel” overhandigde aan de drie ruimtevaarders van Shenzhou 21 leek alles nog in orde. Maar de terugkeer van Shenzhou 20 werd voor onbepaalde tijd uitgesteld Mogelijk werd de capsule beschadigd door een stukje micrometeoriet of ruimteafval.
