Nieuws Uit De Ruimtevaart – Week 2026/22–805

De ontploffing van een New Glenn op het lanceerplatform tijdens een statische test is niet zomaar een zware ontploffing. Het zorgt voor problemen voor Amazon Leo, maar ook en vooral voor het Artemis-programma. Net nu NASA een belangrijke update had gegeven over de Moon Base, met daarin de eerstvolgende maanden en jaren een niet-onbelangrijke rol voor Blue Origin. China lanceerde ondertussen een nieuwe bemanning naar Tiangong. Eén van de drie zal een jaar in de ruimte blijven. Dat en nog veel meer in het Nieuws Uit De Ruimtevaart van deze week.

Raketnieuws.

 

New Glenn ontploft op lanceerpad bij het begin van een statische test.
Dit was de bedoeling van de lancering:
Geek Wire: Blue Origin readies New Glenn rocket to launch 48 Amazon Leo satellites after FAA clearance.


Maar, in voorbereiding op de verwachte lancering op 4 juni onderging de raket op 29 mei (onze tijd) een static fire. Die liep dus volledig mis.
