De Amerikaanse Marssonde MRO maakte gedetailleerde opnames van de Schiaparelli crash site. Bij ESA zoekt men ondertussen naar de reden van de mislukte landing. Met TGO gaat ondertussen alles goed. Zo ook met Juno rond Jupiter. De sonde kwam uit zijn safe mode. En New Horizons sloot een hoofdstuk af. De laatste bits aan waarnemingen gedaan bij de passage van Pluto zijn nu naar de Aarde doorgestuurd. Op het einde van deze “Nieuws Uit De Ruimtevaart” krijg je de rest van het (inter)planetaire nieuws.

Ondertussen leven er twee Chinezen in Tiangong 2. Ook deze keer weer heel wat beeldmateriaal van deze maandlange missie. Bij het ISS was er weer heel wat verkeersdrukte. De Cygnus-bevoorradingscapsule werd met succes aan het ruimtestation vast gemaakt. Drie ruimtevaarders keerden deze ochtend (zondag 30 oktober) veilig en wel terug naar de Aarde.

SpaceX is ondertussen nog wat dichter gekomen bij een mogelijke verklaring voor de ontploffing van een Falcon 9 op het lanceerplatform
