Met twee lanceringen, met een terugblik op de eerste lancering van een Lange Mars 5, en met de gebeurtenissen aan boord van Tiangong 2 beheerst China ook deze week weer het ruimtevaartnieuws. Verder lanceerde een Atlas V WorldView 4 (zie foto), was er de beursgang van Mars One, en hebben we wat nieuwtjes over SLS, Orion, DSH en Commercial Crew verzameld. NASA gaat kleine satellieten gebruiken voor aardonderzoek en we blikken ook deze week weer vooruit naar de op stapel staande Europese ministerconferentie over ruimtevaart.

Het (inter)planetaire nieuws is deze week weer erg rood gekleurd, met heel wat nieuwtjes rond de planeet Mars.

Nu Trump verkozen is tot nieuwe president van de Verenigde Staten wordt er uitgekeken wat zijn invloed gaat zijn op NASA en de Amerikaanse ruimtevaartplannen.
