India zette deze week een belangrijke stap met de lancering van de nieuwe GSLV-versie. Qua lanceringen worden ze zo meer en meer onafhankelijk van het buitenland. Ook voor de Russen was het een belangrijke week, met de geslaagde lancering van een Proton-raket na een jaar vol problemen. 

Bij de NASA stelden ze de nieuwste selectie astronauten voor. Maar ook bij andere ruimtevaartorganisaties worden nieuwe ruimtevaarders gezocht.  Voor de Brit Tim Peake komt er dan misschien toch geen tweede vlucht. En dat zou op zich niks te maken hebben met de Brexit.

Drukke tijden voor het ISS. Een Cygnus-capsule vertrok, een Dragon arriveerde. Wat gevolgd wordt door heel wat SpaceX-nieuws, zoals het feit dat de volgende lancering van de kleine militaire ruimtependel X-37B zal gebeuren met een Falcon 9.

Verder heel wat nieuws uit Rusland, uit China en uiteraard uit de (inter)planetaire ruimte. Afronden doen we met een hele lading ruimtevaartgeschiedenis. Teveel om hier op te sommen, maar u vindt het achteraan deze alweer mooi gevulde NUDR.
