Nieuws Uit De Ruimtevaart – Week 2018/15 – 387

Samen met SpaceX is China duidelijk de meest ijverige op het vlak van lanceringen. Naast de elfde Chinese liftoff waren er ook nog twee andere lanceringen afgelopen week. Er was goed nieuws voor SpaceX, want Lockheed Martin kreeg nu ook officieel de schuld van de mislukte ZUMA-lancering.

Er gebeurde verder weer heel wat nabij de Aarde in het International Space Station, en wat verderop in de (inter)planetaire ruimte, maar de nog onbekende exoplaneten kunnen beter op hun tellen letten want maandag wordt TESS gelanceerd.

En de gigantische SLS-raket blijft een zorgenkindje. De Exploration Upper Stage is wellicht niet klaar voor EM-2 (meer werk voor de Interim Cryogenic Propulsion Stage - zie foto) en de SLS Flight Software lijkt een zootje.

En, niet vergeten, de 20ste ruimtevaartnamiddag op zaterdag 26 mei !!!
