Nieuws Uit De Ruimtevaart – Week 2019/13–435

Twee weken geleden kon je uitgebreid in het Nieuws Uit De Ruimtevaart lezen (zie NUDR 433) over NASA’s plannen om in 2028 astronauten op de Maan te zetten. Ook al waren er problemen om de SLS-raket klaar te krijgen voor Exploration Mission 1. Deze week kwam er zowaar een nog grotere verrassing. Niet 2028 maar 2024 is de nieuwe streefdatum om “American boots” op de Maan te zetten. En ja, de SLS zou dan plots toch op tijd zijn voor EM-1. Nog vijf  jaar dus. Ik ben benieuwd . . .

Ander groot nieuws was de Indische anti-satelliettest, alsook het feit dat de eerste ruimtewandeling met een volledig vrouwelijke bemanning niet kon doorgaan.
