Een week van uitersten werd het. De Israëlische lander crashte op de maan toen de landingsmotor het liet afweten. Enkele uren later vertrok Falcon Heavy voor weer een indrukwekkende lancering. Mét een geslaagde triple landing.

Er zijn ook resultaten van onderzoek van belang voor toekomstige Marsreizen. Zo is het menselijk lichaam toch aan meer veranderingen onderhevig bij langere ruimtevluchten. En het ISS is na jarenlang gebruik toch een beetje vuiler dan verwacht.

En raadsels zijn er ook nog. Vorige week was er de bevestiging dat Curiosity methaan had waargenomen, nu zijn er de NOMAD-resultaten die helemaal geen methaan laten zien.
