Twee weekends overslaan, het was geen goed idee. Buiten een reeks “normale” lanceringen (o.a. een bemande Soyuz-lancering naar het ISS, onbemande Dragon naar datzelfde ruimtestation) waren er ook heel wat speciale gebeurtenissen. Zo lanceerde India zijn eerste maanlander. En was er de eerste geslaagde Chinese privé-lancering van twee satellietjes. Minder leuk nieuws was er voor de Europese ruimtevaart met een mislukte Vega-lancering.

Ondertussen gaat het testen van allerlei nieuwe raketten onverminderd verder. Zoals bij Virgin Orbit, maar zeker ook bij SpaceX. Na heel wat (kleinere) probleempjes was er dan eindelijk dat eerste sprongetje van de StarHopper.

Kortom, zoveel nieuws dat deze NUDR in twee delen werd gesplitst. In dit eerste deel van NUDR 450 enkel het raket-gerelateerde nieuws uit de afgelopen drie weken. De rest krijg je in een tweede deel.
