Nieuws Uit De Ruimtevaart – Week 2019/37–457

Soms is het ook in de ruimtevaart kantje boordje, heb je van die net wel, net niet situaties. Zo was het net niet voor Vikram, de Indische maanlander. Foto’s zouden volgens de Indiërs aantonen dat de lander toch heelhuids (?) zou neergekomen zijn. Maar tot op heden is men er niet in geslaagd contact te maken met de lander. En de tijd begint te dringen want binnen enkele dagen gaat de zon onder en begint de maannacht.

Ook net niet was het in Japan, maar deze keer in positieve zin.  Op het lanceerplatform stond een H-2B, vertrekkensklaar met een Konoutori-bevoorradingscapsule voor het ISS. Tot er plots brand uitbrak op het lanceerplatform. Gelukkig zonder erg, maar de aftelling werd wel afgebroken.
