Nieuws Uit De Ruimtevaart – Week 2020/23–496

Het is hier al eerder geschreven en ook deze week moet ik het weer herhalen. SpaceX domineert alweer het ruimtevaartnieuws van afgelopen week. Uiteraard was er  het vervolg van en het terugkijken op Demo 2. Uiteraard was er die minder leuke ontploffing van Starship SN4. Maar ondertusssen was er al een volgende Falcon 9-lancering. Alweer een reeks Starlink-satellieten. 

Ondertussen is er ook op vele plaatsen een exit uit de coronacrisis. Zo gaat de Europese lanceerbasis weer open, met deze maand nog een in meer dan één opzicht belangrijke Vega-lancering. En we tellen af naar de zomer, naar midden juli als er een nieuw salvo op Mars wordt afgevuurd.


Bij de foto: Net als bij zoveel vorige Falcon 9 lanceringen kwam na de lancering van Crew Dragon Demo 2 ook deze keer de eerste trap netjes terug op het drone platform OCISLY. SpaceX wordt ondertussen niet langer meer verplicht om vanaf 2021 bij volgende bemande lanceringen steeds een nieuwe eerste trap te gebruiken. Foto: SpaceX.
