Nieuws Uit De Ruimtevaart – Week 2021/29–556

Na Branson ging dus ook Bezos de ruimte in. Met een totaal verschillend ruimtetuig. In een totaal verschillende stijl. Een verschil in stijl is er ook bij het aankondigen van successen of als het eens niet loopt zoals het hoort. Zoals bij Nauka. Iedereen weet ondertussen dat er problemen zijn met het propulsiesysteem, dat er problemen zijn met KURS, het systeem dat toelaat om Nauka automatisch te koppelen met het ISS. Maar officieel wordt daar niet over gepraat. Duimen maar dat het alsnog lukt. Want er is maar één kans. Een tweede kans is er wel voor Starliner. Boeing mag een tweede keer proberen om zijn Commercial Crew capsule onbemand en automatisch aan het ruimtestation te laten koppelen. En dat terwijl op Mars InSight het binnenste van de planeet in kaart heeft gebracht en Perseverance klaar is om bodemmonsters te verzamelen.
