Nieuws Uit De Ruimtevaart – Week 2022/09–589

In een normale ruimtevaart week zouden we ongetwijfeld de zes lanceringen van deze week benadrukken. Maar het hadden er zeven kunnen zijn. En dan verwijzen we niet naar een mogelijke mislukte lancering in Iran. Maar naar de geschrapte lancering van OneWeb-satellieten door een Soyuz-raket vanuit Baikonur. En dat als gevolg van de oorlog tussen Rusland en Oekraïne. Niet te verbazen dat die oorlog en de gevolgen voor de ruimtevaart de hoofdbrok blijven in het Nieuws Uit De Ruimtevaart van deze week.

Bij de foto: Eén van de gevolgen van de Russische inval in Oekraïne was dat de Soyuz-lancering van een reeks OneWeb-satellieten vanop Baikonur niet langer kon doorgaan. De raket werd dan ook van het lanceerplatform terug naar binnen gerold. Foto: Screendump uit een Roscosmos TV video.
