Nieuws Uit De Ruimtevaart – Week 2022/14–594

De heisa rond het ISS blijft duren (en dat zal nog wel een tijdje zo blijven). Of de Russen in de toekomst met een eigen ruimtestation voor de dag gaan komen dan wel dat ze met de Chinezen gaan samenwerken zal nog moeten blijken. En blijft het ISS lang genoeg operationeel om een overgang naar commerciële ruimtestations  mogelijk te maken, dat is een andere vraag. Ondertussen stuurt Axiom Space de eerste privé-vlucht naar het ISS.

En voor de tegenstanders van Starlink, er is een nieuwe dreiging op komst. Amazon heeft zonet 83 (!) lanceringen besteld voor de opstart van Project Kuiper.
